Lough Ash is perfectly located, nestling in the hills above the village of Dunamanagh , and in the shadows of the Sperrin Mountains. Like Moorlough  this is a true anglers paradise- larger trout have been stocked with a view to providing more rewarding catches. Close by to the lake is Loughash Wedge Tomb which dates from around 4,000 to 4,500 years ago . Also near here, convenient to the wonderfully named Butterlope Glen is another wedge tomb which goes by the name of Clogherny- meaning stony place.
